Little Giant's 3-MD-SC features leakproof, seal-less magnetic drives designed for in-line, non-submersible use in the recirculation of highly corrosive fluids reaching temperatures as high as 200 °F (93 °C). Made from corrosion-resistant materials, the 3-MD-SC is a rugged chemical pump built to handle industrial applications.

Overview


Powered by a thermally protected, open fan-cooled motor to protect the pump from overheating, the 3-MD-SC Series includes a volute, magnet housing, and impeller made from glass-filled Ryton® for excellent chemical resistance. Its ceramic shaft and thrust washers are 99.5% pure alumina for excellent wear resistance and trouble-free service. Pumping heads are easily rotated, cleaned, or serviced with no special tools required. The spindle shaft is supported at both ends to prevent impeller damage during the start and stop of the pump.
